I am Gokulnath Murugesan, from a beautiful city in the southern part of India called Chennai. I finished my schooling from A.V.M, Chennai and got into SSN Engineering College for my Bachelors program. Right after my UG, I came here, to the USA in 2004 to pursue Masters in Computer Science degree from University of Alabama in Huntsville. I graduated in December 2005 and entered into the corporate world as a software developer immediately. Currently, I am working for the US Federal Government as Senior .NET developer (IT Consultant). I got married on June 6th 2008 to Elavarasi, who is currently taking care of me and my chores, and who is also supporting me in attaining my life-time goals. We are currently living in Alexandria, Virginia, USA.
My father, R. Murugesan, is a real-estate entrepreneur. He has been, is, and will always remain my greatest inspiration in life. My mother M. Tamilarasi, takes good care of both my home and my father's business. My older brother, M. Kathiravan, was always interested in politics, and he was elected twice as the Councillor of the 7th Ward in Chennai, and was also elected as the Vice President of Valasaravakkam Panchayat. He got married in 2005 to Sujatha, and they were blessed with a baby girl named Varshini in 2006, thereby adding another member to my family. My younger brother, M. Praveen Babu, completed his B.B.A. and is currently managing an Aircel showroom in Chennai. Although both my brothers are doing what they are interested in, they continue to play a very vital role in taking my father's business to greater heights.
